Paul feels privileged to assist his clients on their paths toward change, healing, and personal growth.
From a young age, Paul knew he wanted to be a therapist, motivated by a strong desire to help others. This passion led him to pursue a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University.
Paul’s therapeutic approach primarily draws from Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), Attachment Theory, Object-Relations Theory, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Paul approaches therapy with an understanding of the significant role that family of origin, emotional awareness, attachment, and past experiences have on our current perceptions of the world.
Paul works to foster a non-judgmental environment and supports individuals from all identities, backgrounds, and cultures. He remains mindful of his own implicit biases and strives to approach diverse populations with transparency and curiosity. His systemic approach involves customizing his therapeutic style and interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring he provides the most effective support possible.
